Arrival at the airport

By public transport:

The "City Airport Train (CAT)" or the train line S7 will take you directly into the city of Vienna ("Landstraße/Wien-Mitte" train station). From "Landstraße" take the underground line U4 (direction "Heiligenstadt") to "Schottenring" and change to the underground line U2 (direction "Karlsplatz"). Get off at "Schottentor". From there take a tram (lines 37, 38, 40, 41 or 42) to "Spitalgasse" (2 stops). Walk along Währinger Straße (against your previous direction of travel). The main entrance to the Faculty of Physics is at Strudlhofgasse 4, on the right-hand side of the street.

By taxi:

There is a taxi stand directly in front of the arrival hall of the airport. It takes you about 30 minutes to get to the Faculty of Physics.

Arrival at Westbahnhof train station

By public transport:

From Westbahnhof take the tram number 5 (direction "Praterstern") and get off at "Spitalgasse". Walk along Währinger Straße and take the first street to the left (Strudlhofgasse). The main entrance to the Faculty of Physics is at Strudlhofgasse 4.

By taxi:

A taxi ride from Westbahnhof takes about 10 minutes.
