The Faculty of Physics annually awards the Hans-Thirring-Prize for an outstanding dissertation of the previous academic year.
For 2017/2018, Dominik Stolzenburg received the award for his doctoral thesis "How clusters grow to particles: Particle size distribution and growth rate measurements with a DMA-train".
