We are delighted to congratulate Iurii Chubak, who is this year's laureate of the Hans Thirring Prize. The Faculty of Physics of the University of Vienna awards this annual prize named after the theoretical physicist Hans Thirring for an outstanding dissertation from the previous academic year.
Iurii obtained his Doctoral Degree with Highest Honors in November 2020, having submitted a Thesis on the topic of the structure and dynamics of passive and active topological polymers under the supervision of Christos Likos.
We also congratulate all students of the Master's Programme (Physics and Computational Science) and Teacher Accrediation Programme Physics who were selected to the Dean's List.
