About the workshop:
We will simulate typical and challenging job interview scenarios, learning to answer both generic and tricky questions with confidence, creating a positive impression, and standing out positively. We will also practice elegant and convincing ways to communicate your strengths and skills. You will receive individual feedback on your CV and gain insights into best-practice techniques for efficient networking in the scientific field and beyond. By the end of this 100% practical and interactive workshop, you will have a comprehensive toolbox for navigating job interviews. Be ready to actively participate and have fun! The first part of the workshop will focus on job interviews in science, and the second part on job interviews in the private sector.
About the trainer:
Dr. Michael Gordian is a trainer and seminar leader, specialized in science communication, social skills and creative thinking. Currently, he facilitates workshops and coaching at more than 20 universities and numerous international research institutions. He is passionate about traveling, expanding his and other people’s minds, flow activities and designing new exciting trainings and learning games.
