VDSP graduate Lisa B. Weiß (Computational and Soft Matter Physics) is one of the recipients of this year's "Award of Excellence" for her doctoral thesis on "Hydrodynamics Meets Topology: Transport of Ring Polymers in Micro- and Nanofluidic devices". The award is presented annually by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and honours the 40 best doctoral theses of the past academic year across all disciplines throughout Austria."
